With Ryan Smith's new signature shoe and apparel pack, the Smith 2.0, hitting skate shops now, we've published a new interview with him in the skate section at dcshoes.com.
The long question and answer starts out talking about his motorbike accident. It then covers the long physical recovery process that ensued over the next six months as he got better, finally back on his board, and eventually to the point where he's now ripping harder than ever.
He also talks about his new Smith 2.0 shoe and apparel pack, which is completely different from any shoe you've seen from Smith (or DC, for that matter) so far. For the project Smith enlisted the art skills of famed skateboard graphic artist Jimbo Phillips. The original artwork created especially for this DC project is found on all the Smith 2.0 apparel plus the insole of the shoe.
